Due to my recent surgeries Joanna and I had to take some time off for my recovery.  I am finally getting stronger and we’re ready to go back to work although not a full schedule yet.  If you are interested in booking a date with Southern Joy, please contact us at 251-476-7370 as we will be cutting our dates in half this year.

30^th Sunday evening service.  Providence Baptist Church Linden, Alabama

Service begins at 6 PM

April

13^th – Sunday evening at the Nazarene Church in Saraland.   Service will begin at 6 PM.  Song service only.

19^th – Saturday night we will be joining a host of other groups at the Gospel Barn in Jemison, Alabama.  This event begins at 12 noon and goes until.  A meal will be served for a donation only.

27^th – Sunday morning for Homecoming at Parkway  Baptist Church on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, Alabama.  The service will begin with singing at 10:30 AM then on to the worship service followed by lunch and fellowship.  Everyone is invited.

August

10^th Sunday morning service for Homecoming at Academy Baptist Church in Vernon, Alabama.  Come and join the fun.

17^th – Chilton Baptist Church for Sunday morning service.  Bro. Elmore invites you to join us in Grove Hill, Alabama

September

21^st – Sunday morning services for Homecoming at Calvary’s Hill Baptist Church in Jemison, Alabama. 

October

4^th – A Big Night Out for all of those who love Gospel Music.

Southern Joy will host a benefit singing for Good Shepherd Church and School that is in great need of a fellowship hall.  This night will be filled with  an array of music, southern gospel, gospel bluegrass and country gospel. Something for everyone.  Come prepared to donate to the Fellowship Hall Fund and remember, God will bless you according to how you bless others.

12^th -  Sunday morning we will be at Lake Hill Baptist Church in Deatsville, Alabama for their Founder’s Day Celebration.  Dinner and singing in the afternoon. 

Sunday night will find us at New Hope Baptist Church for the 6 PM service in Titus, Alabama.  Great fun and fellowship is planned for afterwards.

19^th – Sunday morning service we will be at Good Shepherd Church in Theodore, Alabama for a gospel singing and lunch after the morning service.  It’s always a good time so come and join us.

November

2^nd – The Alabama Pecan Festival will have a gospel singing on the outside stage.  This is the 20^th year so we plan to bring back some groups from the past and remember those who contributed and made the Sunday Stage possible.  Bring a comfortable chair and join us for a great afternoon beginning at 12:00 and going until 6 PM

27^th – Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving!

December

A Southern Joy Christmas is a one hour program that urges us all to keep Christ in the center of our holiday.  We use all kinds of music, gospel, traditional, country as well as several original songs.  We will begin this program after Thanksgiving and sing it until New Years.

14^th – Sunday evening service for A Southern Joy Christmas at Chilton Baptist Church in Grove Hill, Alabama. 

20^th – Saturday night we will present the Christmas program at the Jemison Gospel Barn in Jemison, Alabama.  The evening begins at 5 PM and includes a meal. Donations are accepted to cover the cost of the food.

21^st – Sunday afternoon and evening we will be at Peaceful Valley Church of God in Wilmer, Alabama.  Bro. Griffey invites you to join us for this great time of fellowship and celebration.  Services begin at 5 PM.

25^th We wish you a very special and blessed Christmas and Holiday Season.
